" Make Disciples"

The primary goal of Men's Ministry is to make men into disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

St. George Community Churches Men's Ministry is dedicated to helping men become the spiritual leaders that the Lord calls them to be. Accountability, Bible study, fellowship, and prayer all contribute to the goal of this ministry. Meet with a small group of men to encourage and challenge each other to live a life passionate for Christ.

“The most powerful way you can influence people is to lead them closer to Jesus.” –

Ephesians1:2-3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

MEN’S BOOK STUDY:

Tuesday in Elliott Hall at 10am. The study is on Philip Yancy’s book on Prayer. All men are welcome to attend.

Polls reveal that 90 percent of people pray---yet instead of feeling uplifted by the practice, many find it frustrating, confusing, and mysterious. Yancey explores the enigmatic intersection where we meet God, asking---and answering---key questions: Is he listening? What's the point? Can prayer be more satisfying? Does it change his mind? My mind? Or both? 368 pages, softcover from Zondervan.
